Course 1:
An exploration of Jewish Spirituality—the paths to Divinity
What is Jewish spirituality. After all, spirituality means many things to many people. Here for us, spirituality is a path to something significant and life affirming. Spirituality in this sense is also our connection with the Divine: the experience of knowing that we are part of something greater than ourselves, which also gives meaning to our own existence as human beings and as Jews.
In our four session course we will have the opportunity to ask what spirituality can mean and how we can find it by exploring ancient and some modern spiritual Jewish paths and compare them to Hinduism and Buddhism .
