About Rabbi Ron

Born in Haifa, Israel to kind and loving Czechoslovakian Holocaust survivors, Rabbi Ron immigrated to California in 1959. His parents’ wisdom, kindness and resiliency shaped the man he is and his commitment to his family, culture and education. As a Rabbi, Ron is a skilled teacher, a good listener and also a very creative individual.

Ron has an interesting and multifaceted career as a Rabbi. He most recently served as the interim Rabbi of the Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. In 2013, Rabbi Ron completed nine years of service as the Senior Rabbi of Congregation Dor Tamid in Johns Creek, Georgia. Now in San Diego, he offers spiritual services outside of the structure of a congregation to the unaffiliated, not only in San Diego but also in Orange and Riverside Counties, and Los Angeles.
